When does a new anime come out?

Every day at midnight Eastern time. Everyone plays the same anime, so you can compare results with friends.

Which anime can be the answer?

The answer comes from the 1,000 most popular anime on MyAnimeList: TV series, movies, and ONAs. You can also guess OVAs and specials, and they still give you clues.

What do the colors and arrows mean?

Green is an exact match. Yellow means you are close. Grey means no match. Arrows point toward the answer, for example a later debut or a higher score.

How do hints work?

You can pick a hint before guess 5 and again before guess 9: the premise, its MyAnimeList themes, or the first letter of the title. Each hint uses one of your 10 guesses, and unused picks carry over.

What does "Same franchise" mean?

You guessed a related entry, like a sequel, prequel, or movie, but not the exact anime. You are very close.

Do I need an account?

No. Your progress for the day is saved in this browser, so you can close the tab and come back.
